Warranty Statement
Square Plastic LLC. offers a 10-year degressive warranty on the shell structure of the pool bodies it manufactures. Square Plastic LLC. offers a 10-year warranty against water loss through the pool body, i.e. loss in serviceability, not appearance. In the event of shell failure of the pool body not due to physical impact. The 10-year guarantee given by the manufacturer means that the pool body will retain its watertightness during this period.
The warranty is valid and transferable upon installation of the pool at the place of service and is valid for the first owner of the pool. The transfer is conditional on the pool installation location not being changed, otherwise the warranty will be void in its entirety. If the ownership and the guarantee are transferred, the owner must notify Square Plastic LLC. in writing within 10 days of his/her wish to ensure that the guarantee remains in effect. Such claims are expected to be sent to Square Plastic’s email address!
10-year guarantee on the pool surface below the water level
Square Plastic LLC. guarantees the pool surface below the water level for 10 years, provided that no structural damage, such as structural failures caused by osmosis, occurs within this period. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper or overdosed chemical use, or by improper use of cleaning products, tools or external damage.
The pool water must meet the following conditions at all times:
-the water temperature must not exceed 32 degrees Celsius continuously
-the pH of the pool water must be between 7,0 and 7,8, the chemical equilibrium is achieved between -0,3 and 0,3 of the Langelier index. This ensures that corrosion and scale formation do not occur. The maximum chlorine content must not exceed 3PPM
-the redox value of the pool water must not exceed 750 mV
-the quality of the pool water is at least equivalent to that required in Hungary. If no such standards exist, DIN 19643 I-IV applies
-the quality of the water with which the pool body comes into contact must comply with the EU drinking water standard and must come from a public water supply system or an approved drinking water supply source.
The warranty does not apply to the discoloration of the surface of the pool above the water level and to direct or indirect mechanical damage. The warranty only covers damage that is attributable to material defects and expressly excludes any color change of the material over time. Furthermore, the guarantee does not cover damage caused by improperly adjusted PH values, scale and natural acids (e.g. wood leaves). If the owner discovers a defect, he must report it in writing to the manufacturer within 30 days, otherwise the warranty will be voided. The warranty does not apply to damage caused by e.g. improper crane operation, incorrect backfilling.
If Square Plastic LLC. acknowledges the warranty defect, it reserves the right to decide whether to repair the pool on site or to offer financial compensation or replacement of the pool body. If the manufacturer chooses to repair the pool, the owner must provide access to the pool with large machinery, the cost of which will be borne by the owner. The amount of the warranty is based on the purchase value of the pool.
For warranty repairs, the owner must provide adequate water supply, adequate drainage and adequate electricity supply at his/her own expense. The cost of drainage and refilling is not covered by the guarantee during the duration of the repairs.
Warranty does not cover damages caused intentionally and by force majeure, such as earthquake, flood, war, or any other effect that is unforeseeable or beyond the control of Square Plastic LLC.
The warranty does not cover any equipment, technical items, pipes or other objects that are not directly part of the pool. Damage caused by water pressure or groundwater is not covered by the warranty.
The Square Plastic LLC. warranty does not cover the following services: groundworks, electrical installation, painting, masonry/bricklaying, concreting, landscaping, tiling, crane work, compaction, licensing, core drilling, paving, pumping, cleaning, plastering, delivery and dispatch charges.
